Fundraising Request Process

Since 2017, St. Paul’s Foundation has been working diligently in support of program, equipment and research needs at PHC as well as the building of the new St. Paul’s. As we look forward to the ground-breaking of the new St. Paul’s, we now have the opportunity to identify new initiatives where philanthropic support can be leveraged to enhance, innovate and grow patient and resident care, research and teaching throughout the Providence Family: Providence Health Care, Providence Living, and Providence Research.

We want to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to have their say, and to request donor support for their idea, proposal or development. We have, therefore, developed a fundraising request process and an SPF Fundraising Priorities Committee in order to review all fundraising requests and make recommendations to SPF and Providence Leadership. This process will help to determine the Foundation’s fundraising program for the next three to five years.

Requests will be reviewed on a number of criteria, including how the initiative will change patient lives, both here and around the world. We are also looking for proposals that will help to differentiate Providence and drive achievement of Providence’s Mission: Forward Goals. The potential appeal of your initiative to donors and your willingness to partner with the Foundation to support their fundraising efforts will also be important considerations.

Prior to submitting a request, we encourage you to discuss needs in your area with your manager, director and physician program director, and to contact the Foundation to determine if your initiative would be a suitable submission.
