Enhanced Patient Care Grants

Funded by donations to St. Paul’s Foundation’s annual Lights of Hope, EPC grants support initiatives, programs, items, and equipment that will directly enhance patient and resident care at sites operated by Providence Health Care and Providence Living.

The EPC grant program is open to all Providence Health Care and Providence Living physicians and staff.

EPC Grants are small grants (up to a maximum of $3,000) for initiatives, programs, items, and equipment that will directly enhance patient and resident care at sites operated by Providence Health Care and Providence Living.

This year, the Broad Impact EPC Grant will again provide up to a maximum of $40,000 for coordinated initiatives, programs, items, and equipment that will directly enhance patient and resident care across multiple areas at sites operated by Providence Health Care and Providence Living.

Applications are now closed as of Tuesday, May 31, 2022.

Reimbursements:

St. Paul’s Foundation will reimburse your PHC cost centre once you have spent the money on the project outlined in your application. In order to be reimbursed, please keep a copy of your invoices and receipts and complete the SPF Disbursement Request Form – EPC by June 30, 2023 for EPC 2023 grants.

If you spend more than the amount approved in your EPC approval letter, it is the responsibility of you and your Department to find other sources of funding to cover these extra expenses.

In the meantime, if you have any questions regarding the EPC grant program or the reimbursement process, please send your questions to the EPC Grant Committee.
