Earlier this month, construction kicked off on the new St. Paul’s Hospital on the Jim Pattison Medical Campus, the largest hospital redevelopment project in BC’s history.
The $2.174 billion project is part of a massive endeavour to transform an 18.4-acre undeveloped site in Vancouver’s False Creek Flats into the province’s first-ever purpose-built health campus. In addition to the Government of BC and Providence Health Care, other project partners include St. Paul’s Foundation, Vancouver Coastal Health, Provincial Health Services Authority, Fraser Health Authority, First Nations Health Authority, University of British Columbia, and Simon Fraser University.
The new St. Paul’s Hospital will usher in a new era in health care in BC, with the tools, resources, and technology to care for patients, teach the next generation, drive innovation, and transform lives.
